Meet Bryony Drake, a dynamic guitarist and vocalist whose covers span the decades, from the iconic sounds of the 60s and 70’s to the contemporary hits of today. Having performed for the past 7 years both on land and cruise ships, Bryony has graced stages all around the world. She is a songwriter, and professional jukebox of other peoples songs!


 

Her biggest musical influences are Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, and Led Zeppelin. She grew up listening to the blues, folk, and rock music, which is what led to her falling in love with the guitar. She began writing in her mid teens, and her first record ‘I Love You On The Tip Of My Tongue’ received national radio success with BBC Introducing and Radio 6. In the UK, she has performed in several premier venues including Leeds O2 academy, The Grand Opera House York, and York Barbican.


 

Aged 20, Bryony Drake moved over the the Canary Islands, Spain, where she began her career as a working musician. She performed nightly in the pubs and bars on the Puerto Del Carmen strip, before eventually beginning her career onboard cruise ships. Bryony now performs Internationally both on land and at sea, and has booked shows in various countries including Canada and the US, Turkey, Spain, and back home in the UK. Most recently, Bryony has created her 60’s ‘summer of love’ inspired orchestra backed theatre show, which has been performed onboard several Celebrity Cruises ships.


 

This year Bryony moved to Australia to write and record her debut album! She started in Brisbane, where she performed all around the venues of the city for several months, before travelling up to the city of Cairns.  She is excited to share her love for music with a new audience.
